5) He is called our great God and Savior (Titus 2:13). This is the rendering given in the R.S.V., the N.E.B., and the margin of the A.S.V. The rendering in the A.V., “the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,” makes the great God refer to the Father and our Savior refer to Christ.
