It should be
pointed out in conclusion that the classifications of the attributes into Moral
and Non-moral, while fully comprehending the attributes as found in God, does
not relate these attributes to mankind. It is evident that some of the attributes
are found only in God, while others may be found, to a limited extent, in man.
This distinction is brought out, for example, in the classification which Berkhof
favors. The Incommunicable attributes are those which speak of God as Absolute
Being: attributes which cannot be communicated to the creature. Self‑existence,
Immutability, Infinity, Omnipresence, Omniscience, Omnipotence, Sovereignty are
attributes which can be predicated of God alone.
