2. Virtual
atheists are those who either hold principles which are inconsistent with a
belief in God, or who define God in terms which rob Him of His essential Being
or attributes. One who is an organic evolutionist may never express his opinions
about God, but his evolutionary beliefs in effect make him an atheist. Another
person may say that God to him is the sum-total of energy in the natural world.
Although in appearance he believes in God, yet virtually he is an atheist.
