The New
Testament manuscripts are usually divided into two groups: the Uncial,
written in capital (majuscule) letters, and the Cursive, written in
small, running-hand (minuscule) letters. The Uncial form of writing was used up
to about the 10th century and the Curslye form began to be used about the 9th
century.
