2. Cursive
Manuscripts. These are generally of much less importance than the Uncials,
since they are copies which were made at a much later date and therefore
further removed from the originals. However, it is possible that a Cursive
might be the copy of an Uncial which was written much earlier than another
Uncial, and it would, in that case, be of more value. There are approximately
2,500 of these in existence, with slightly less than 50 containing the entire
New Testament.
